Terms and Policies

SHIPPING: Prices exclude shipping except where otherwise noted. Standard shipping applies only to Continental USA. Additional shipping is required outside Continental USA. We do ship internationally - request a quote. Contact us with any questions. Thank you. Expedited shipping is extra.

We require payment up front. PayPal (credit card payment) is preferred, easy and SECURE. Their is a no surcharge at this time for personal checks made out to GEORGE FRANKS mailed to us. There is, effective July 1, 2018 a $10 charge for MONEY ORDERS (they cannot be deposited electronically).

Please provide a full and detailed description of which hat style you desire including order number, wool or fur felt, binding or no binding, color of binding, type and color of cockade, type of button (pewter or brass) and any other details specific to the regiment, unit or impression.  Note: Machine sewn hats all have leather liners (sweatbands).

Hats size/head size: please include head measurement in INCHES just above the ears and over hair and/or whig.  Do not hold it too tight. We will convert to the appropriate hat size. If you can provide your hat size along with head measurement that is helpful to guarantee a good fit.

Prices may change at any time without notice.

Hand sewn, round blocked hats take from 60-90 days from payment (order) to shipment. Machine sewn, oval blocked hats take a minimum of 45 days from payment (order) to shipment (customized and orders requiring hand sewn trim on machine sewn hat orders may take longer). Expedited fees are applicable for orders requested in less than the stated interval. If you need a hat by a specific date, please inform us up front. Thank you!

NOTE: Each hat is custom crafted to each customer's specifications.  Hats are NOT RETURNABLE.  We do though guarantee you satisfaction. If for whatever your hat does not meet your expectations, contact us immediately.

Please be specific regarding style, trim, specification including head size.  If you have any questions, contact us.  We make every effort to reply within one business day.

While we have researched our hats extensively, there are unit variations that we may not have within our documentation. As noted above: customers must provide the specifications for other than our "standard" hat offerings (dimensions, color of loopings, binding color and type, cockade color and type, button material and type, etc.).
