Black wool felt cocked hat worn by British soldiers from 1768 through the early 1790's. 4 1/2" brim. 4" crown. Hand sewn linen lining. White or black cocking loops (specify). White cockade loop and pewter button (specify if brass is preferred). Black linen rectangular cockade (horse-hair available at additional cost). Provide head size around just above the ears and not too tight. Hats take a MINIMUM of 60-90 days from order to ship: each hat is custom made to order.
