Bound French & Indian War Cocked Hat with Cockade

Wool felt French & Indian War style cocked hat (sometimes referred to as a "Tricorn hat"). Low cocked front with a brim of 4 1/2 - 5". Crown 4". This style was worn from the 1740's into the early 1770's. With hand sewn worsted wool brim binding in white, black, or yellow (specify color). With black linen cockade (specify if other color desired). Pewter or brass cockade button (specify). Black wool felt (default), brown, gray or tan available (specify). Provide head size around just above the ears and not too tight. Hats take a MINIMUM of 60-90 days from order to ship: each hat is custom made to order.
