Silk Ribbon Bound British Officer Fur Felt Cocked Hat with Cockade

Black silk ribbon bound black fur felt cocked hat worn by British officers from 1768 through the early 1790's. 4 1/2" brim. 4" crown. Black silk ribbon hand sewn binding for the edge of the brim. Hand sewn linen lining. Black cocking loops (specify). Gold or silver lace cockade loop and brass or silver button (specify if brass is preferred). Black silk officer style cockade. Provide head size around just above the ears and not too tight. Hats take a MINIMUM of 60-90 days from order to ship: each hat is custom made to order.
