Black wool felt cocked hat worn by British soldiers from 1768 through the early 1790's. 4 1/2" brim. 4" crown. Hand sewn linen lining. White worsted wool hand sewn edge binding (specify if black or yellow is preferred). White or black cocking loops (specify). White cockade loop and pewter button (specify if brass is preferred). Black linen rectangular cockade (horse-hair available at additional cost). Provide head size around just above the ears and not too tight. Hats take a MINIMUM of 60-90 days from order to ship: each hat is custom made to order.
