We offer British, French, Spanish and colonial military and civilian wool and fur felt hat styles from the era of the French and Indian War in both hand sewn and machine sewn styles.

While few original hats from this era have survived, reconstructions can be seen through period artwork and also the artwork by the top military artists today.  Please see works A SOLDIER LIKE WAY by R. ORDERING NOTE: Hand Sewn French and Indian War era hats are ROUND BLOCKED unless OVAL BLOCKED is specified.  ROUND BLOCKED is correct for the period. Some people find this uncomfortable as most heads are oval and not round.  OVAL BLOCKED hats are available upon request. ALL MACHINE SEWN hats are OVAL BLOCKED.

We offer an extensive number of machine sewn hat styles for historical figures, ceremonial wear, theatrical use plus entry-level re-enactor wear.  These incorporate machine sewing and have leather linings.  All prices include shipping within Continental USA.  Please inquire regarding additional styles and prices.  All are MADE IN THE USA.
